We are based near Chattanooga, Tennessee and serve couples throughout Tennessee, North Georgia, and destination locations.

Our style is emotional, heartfelt, and documentary-inspired. We focus on genuine connection and real moments while also providing natural guidance so you never feel awkward in front of the camera.
Do you help with posing?
Absolutely. We know most couples are not professional models, and you do not need to know what to do. We gently guide you with natural movement and prompts while still allowing real moments and emotions to unfold naturally.
How long does it take to receive our gallery?
Wedding galleries are delivered within one week. We know how exciting it is to relive your day, and we prioritize delivering your memories quickly without sacrificing quality.
How many photos will we receive?
Every wedding and session is unique, but you can expect a carefully curated gallery filled with meaningful moments, candid emotions, beautiful details, and portraits that fully tell the story of your day.
Do you travel?
Yes! We love traveling for weddings and sessions throughout Tennessee, North Georgia, and destination locations.
How do we book with you?
Once you inquire through our contact form, we’ll connect with you to learn more about your wedding or session. A signed contract and retainer officially reserve your date on our calendar.
Do you offer engagement sessions?
Yes! Engagement sessions are a wonderful way for us to connect before the wedding day while helping you become comfortable in front of the camera.
What happens if it rains on our wedding day?
Some of the most emotional and romantic images happen in unexpected weather. We always come prepared with backup plans and will help guide the day smoothly no matter what happens.
How far in advance should we book?
Most couples book anywhere from 8–14 months in advance, especially for spring and fall weddings. We recommend reaching out as soon as possible to secure your date.
Will both of you photograph our wedding?
Yes! As a husband and wife team, we photograph weddings together, allowing us to capture multiple perspectives and meaningful moments throughout your day.
What makes your approach different?
After 30 years of friendship, 9 years together, and 6 years of marriage, we understand firsthand how meaningful the smallest moments can become. Our goal is to preserve your story honestly and emotionally so your photographs always feel personal, timeless, and true to you.

WOW!!!!! Wow wow WOW!!!!! I am BLOWN AWAY by the pictures and the gallery that was given to us. Captured by Cairns is worth every penny and then some. I never feel beautiful in pictures, but the way they photographed me has me looking at myself for the first time in awe I'm so grateful and thankful for them, and would recommend to TO EVERYONE!!!
